San Diego’s own Camarada brings a wide range of passionate tango music on a time-travel musical journey from the 1900’s all the way to their new 2022 and 2023 commissions by the group’s Argentinian composer and double bass player Andrés Martén. This program will be a reprise of the group’s national and international tour that took them to New York, New Mexico, North Carolina, Argentina and Mexico in 2023-24. Flutist Beth Ross Buckley, violinist David Buckley, and pianist Dana Burnett will bring their deep passion for tango into this powerful afternoon experience. You’ll leave the theater feeling as though you’ve been on a remarkable musical journey!
